Fresh 48 Sessions are designed to capture all of the perfect little details of your newborn at their freshest - within the two days of their life - and document the growing love and unique exhilaration of your earliest days as new parents.
When my first baby was born, I stayed awake all night because I could not stop staring at his perfect little face. It felt important to hold that specific memory forever - not just how he looked, but how it felt to have grown and birthed this amazing, gorgeous little being, and what becoming a mother felt like for me, personally.
The warmth of his little heart beating against mine. The way he’d curl his tiny hand into the crook of my neck as he slept. The expansive, all-consuming love I felt growing with every moment. Looking at the pictures I took of my baby in those first few days still gives me goosebumps. But… I’m not in any of them.
Story Time:
Let's talk about this, mama: obviously the hospital isn't exactly glamorous, and you’ll likely not be feeling your most rested or put-together in the couple days after birth. I totally get it; you’re in a vulnerable state and it can feel really uncomfortable to let someone photograph you in that moment.
Hear me out though: A Fresh 48 session is less about you looking your best for photos that will go on the walls, and more about creating a personal keepsake of that incredible, surreal, once-in-a-lifetime moment (even if you have multiple children, each birth is its own extraordinary experience).
Learn from my mistake, and let someone take the photos. I’d be honored to be that someone.

All my Fresh 48 sessions are natural, gentle, and cozy; your baby will spend most of the time in their favorite place - your arms. We'll get tons of detail shots of baby and also capture plenty of snuggles with the family. If you want, we will document feeding and skin-to-skin moments with both parents. Older children and grandparents are always welcome to join!

You’ll get a handful of sneak peeks within a few days, and your full gallery within 3-4 weeks. The gallery will include all the best images - at least 100, often more. You’ll be able to instantly download and share all of the images, and even order high-quality prints and wall art directly from your gallery.
