Maternity Sessions with me are simple, laid-back, and fun! They can be done at home or out in nature, and can have whatever vibe you prefer, from super casual in jeans, to a long flowy dress in a field, or anything in between. We’ll get lots of images of you on your own, as well as plenty of you snuggling up with your partner and when applicable, your other children.
Maternity sessions are typically done between around 30-35 weeks. However, every body is different; ideally we aim for when your belly is popping, but while you’re still comfortable enough to move around freely.
I will guide you through poses and prompts that are fun and playful, usually involve lots of touch and connection, and might sometimes feel kinda silly and get you laughing. All along the way we’ll be creating images that look and feel connected, empowering, and beautiful.

Of course! Your entire immediate family is welcome, and including pets is always very sweet (just let me know when you book so that we can choose a location that allows pets). We will get some images of you on your own, and plenty of your family loving on you.
can i bring my kids/partner/dog to the maternity session?

what should I wear?
Usually sometime between 30-35 weeks is ideal - we're aiming for when your belly is popping, but hopefully you're still able to move around and we're not running the risk of missing the photo opportunity because you're going into labor.
That being said, all bodies are unique and ultimately it's up to you! Early pregnancy photos for announcements can be super sweet, and I have also photographed women just days before their babies were born.

I am based out of Troutdale, which is right at the start of the Columbia River Gorge, 10 minutes northeast of Gresham. There are lots of locations I love to work at around the Portland area, and I am always happy to meet you at your home anywhere between Hood River and Hillsboro! I often travel to Beaverton, Tigard, North Portland, Sandy, Oregon City, Lake Oswego, West Linn, and Vancouver, Washington.
What areas around Portland, Oregon do you serve?
Yes - you always have the option to keep your photos private! During the booking process you will be given a handful of privacy options to choose from.
